Dolphin Pool Cleaner Warranty Explained (What's Covered)

Dolphin robotic pool cleaner

Every new Dolphin robotic pool cleaner comes with a Maytronics manufacturer warranty — but the length and process differ by model range, region and retailer, and a few easy mistakes can void it. Here's how it works in practice.

Typical coverage by range

Entry and mid-range residential models generally carry a 24-month warranty (for example the S100 and S300, per their official spec sheets), while premium M-Line models carry longer coverage — the M400 lists 3 years and the M700 4 years plus the Maytronics For Life programme. US Nautilus models sold on Amazon typically include a 2-year warranty. Always confirm the term on your specific listing or invoice — regional distributors set their own terms.

What's covered

Manufacturing defects in the motor unit, electronics, power supply and cable under normal residential use: a motor that fails, a control board fault, a power supply that dies. Maytronics repairs or replaces through its authorised service network.

How to claim

  1. Keep your purchase invoice — it's the warranty document.
  2. Rule out the simple stuff first with our troubleshooting guide; many "faults" are a clogged filter.
  3. Contact the seller (Amazon or dealer) or the Maytronics service centre for your country — our worldwide guide lists dealer availability by region.
  4. Registered robots get processed faster: register at the Maytronics website or through the MyDolphin™ Plus app after purchase.
