Dolphin Active 30: the sweet-spot Active
The Active 30 is the mid-tier of Maytronics' US pool-store range, and — like the E30 and Nautilus CC Plus in their families — it's the model most buyers should shortlist. It steps up from the Active 20 with full floor, wall and waterline coverage and stronger filtration, while staying well below flagship pricing.
What you get
- Floor-to-waterline cleaning — the visible scum line gets scrubbed, not just the floor.
- CleverClean™ navigation for systematic coverage of the whole pool.
- Fine filtration with top-load access — lift, empty, rinse, done.
- Weekly timer operation so the pool stays clean on autopilot.
How it compares
Against the Active 20: the wall-and-waterline coverage alone justifies the step up for most in-ground pools. Against the Active 60: the 60 adds capacity and premium features for larger pools. Against Amazon's Nautilus CC Plus Wi-Fi: similar tier, with the Nautilus adding app control and the Active offering pool-store dealer support — pick by where you prefer to buy and get service.
Who it suits
Most residential in-ground pools. It's the "just get this one" tier of the Active line for typical backyard pools.
