Dolphin Dynamic: the line that lives on in the PROX 2
The Dolphin Dynamic series was a long-running Maytronics family spanning residential and light-commercial cleaners. Most Dynamic models are discontinued — but the name survives: the Dynamic PROX 2 Gyro, the heavy-duty commercial cleaner in the current catalogue, is the line's direct descendant and carries its badge to this day.
If you own an older Dynamic
Service items follow standard Dolphin patterns — see the parts guide and stock consumables while available. Every fault in the troubleshooting guide applies, from a tangled cable to stop-start behaviour. Commercial Dynamic units can still be assessed by Maytronics commercial dealers, who quote repair against replacement honestly.
Modern equivalents
Commercial duty: the PROX 2 Gyro or the Wave range, dealer-sized to your pool. Residential Dynamic owners upgrading get more cleaner for less money in the S300 or Nautilus CC Plus — see our current picks.
Frequently asked questions
What is the Dolphin Dynamic?
The Dolphin Dynamic is a residential robotic pool cleaner from the Maytronics Dolphin Legacy range. Like all Dolphin robotic pool vacuums it plugs into a low-voltage power supply, drives itself around the pool and collects debris in its own onboard filter, independent of your pool pump.
Does the Dolphin Dynamic come with a warranty?
Yes — all Dolphin robotic pool cleaners carry a Maytronics manufacturer warranty. The exact length for the Dolphin Dynamic varies by region and retailer, so check the listing or your local dealer before buying.
Where is the best place to buy the Dolphin Dynamic?
For most buyers, Amazon offers the best combination of price, delivery and returns for the Dolphin Dynamic. In the Middle East, Dolphin cleaners are also sold through local Maytronics dealers — see our worldwide availability guide.
How do I maintain the Dolphin Dynamic?
Rinse the filter after every cycle, check the brushes and tracks for wear each month, keep the power supply shaded and dry, and store the robot out of direct sun. Our Dolphin maintenance guide covers the full routine step by step.
